As we move into the final weeks of summer, we want to take a moment to wish all of our residents a wonderful, safe, and restful season and furthermore express our appreciation to those who make our community so extraordinary. Our close-knit community serves as the foundation of our town, and each and every resident are what makes New Hanover the best town to call home.

To wrap up the season together, we warmly invite you and your family to join us at the New Hanover Township Community Picnic! It promises to be a fantastic afternoon filled with great food, family games, and summertime fun for all ages. It’s the perfect opportunity to catch up with friends, meet your neighbors, and celebrate our community. We look forward to seeing you there!

Additionally, I want to highlight the amazing work of our New Hanover Township Police Department at the neighboring Pemberton Township National Night Out! Our officers had a fantastic time connecting with residents, and Officer K9 Duco was easily one of the biggest stars of the evening, showing off the specialized skills that help keep our town safe. Events like National Night Out serve as a great reminder of the dedication, professionalism, and hard work our local police officers put in every day. From proactive patrols and community engagement to specialized K9 operations, the New Hanover Township Police Department works tirelessly around the clock to protect our neighborhoods, support our families, and keep New Hanover a safe place to live, work, and grow.
