The New Hanover Township Construction Office operates through a shared service agreement with North Hanover Township to oversee all structural compliance, building codes, and safety inspections within the municipality. This office handles the technical administration of the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code, including reviewing structural, electrical, plumbing, and fire subcode applications. For construction and permitting matters covered under this shared service, contact the North Hanover Township Construction Office (41 Schoolhouse Road, Jacobstown, NJ 08562). Please note that all inspection requests must be submitted no later than 3:00 PM on the business day prior to the requested inspection. Make checks for construction permit payments payable to North Hanover Township.
