The New Hanover Township Municipal Court handles local motor vehicle violations, traffic offenses, and other ordinance violations occurring within the municipality. To improve administrative efficiency and reduce operating costs, the court operates through a shared service agreement that consolidates judicial functions to jointly serve New Hanover Township and neighboring Wrightstown Borough. All court matters and sessions are hosted at the New Hanover Township Court Room (2 Hockamick Rd, Cookstown, NJ 08511).
